• Deerfield Recovery Services include the following:
State-of-the-art
psychopharmacology treatment can help the patient decrease, or stop using
altogether, various classes of substances which have become problematic. These types of substances could include: alcohol; stimulants (e.g.-Adderall or cocaine);
benzodiazepines (e.g.- Xanax,
Ativan or Valium); opiates (e.g.-pill form Percocet or heroin).
An individual having difficulty getting off a treatment
medication (e.g.-Methadone
or even Suboxone) might want evaluation/help for that. Not all patients
qualify for in-patient clinic detoxification programs due to different factors.
When medically appropriate, out-patient treatment is an alternative.
As part of the treatment process, Deerfield Recovery Services does a complete
medical workup on incoming patients, with attention given to medical history, laboratory measures and
physical exam. Psychiatric co-morbidities and social supports are
considered in the treatment which often contains a 12-step plan, a rational recovery
approach, or some form of psychotherapy.
The important advantage for patients at Deerfield Recovery is
that we meet the patient at the stage at which he/she is willing to begin
working, and we offer the motivation and support to succeed in the recovery process.
